Under The Tuscan Gun was born out of a romantic
gesture...Gabriele and I never thought in a million
years to try to have a cooking show. So, I wanted to
share with you how this all came about!!!
Before I met My husband, I always considered myself a "good cook”. I’d host an occasional holiday or dinner party, I’d prepare something 'special' for a guest, usually a recipe from a cookbook, that tortured me, but it came out good enough.

I am a professional dinner 'guest'...I’ve traveled
all over the world, and have sat at some impressive
tables: be it the home cooked dinner at a simple
Grandma's table in some corner of the world, to the
table's of friends, chefs, and fellow food
lovers...My palate "gets it"…and, I enjoy a good
presentation…yet when I cook, I always over spice,
and clutter up the dish, to the point that my meal is
sort of a flop, and it never comes out like the photo
in the recipe book!
